These are some things I have made. I am currently working on writing about and learning the history of art, but I would like to work on becoming a better draughtsman someday. Sometimes trying to make art helps me to better understand and appreciate what other people do. For example, last summer I copied Matisse's Portrait of Madame Matisse. I read a lot about the green line on her nose, but trying to copy the picture made me think more about the blue in her hair. Making art is also a way to experience the other side of the desk.
